aah man!! I cant believe that golden circle tickets 4 the joburg show are already sold out!!!:( im really psyched bout muse & rock legends korn coming 2 the coke fest this year! Ive been 2 the previous 2 coke fests & i had golden circle…it was such a magical feeling! Such a rush especially watching Aron lewis(staind) perform & metallica the year b4.cant imagine not experiancing this years awsm line-up wit out golden circle!!! Muse are absolutely amazing. Now don’t get me wrong, 30 Seconds To Mars and Korn are great, but if they headline I will kill myself. You will find that Muse have the most devoted fanbase of all the bands, and have been voted Best Live Act multiple times by multiple sources. They mix all genres together in their live shows, mixing in riffs from jazzy stuff (piano things), metal (Rage Against The Machine), and classic rock (Led Zeppelin) to please everyone. I GUARANTEE you, if any other act headlines, Muse fans won’t be able to get into it, but just LISTEN ONCE to Muse live stuff and you’ll realise that EVERYBODY will be able to get into Muse. I mean, don’t go by that poll, for Gods sake there isn’t even a link to it on BigConcerts.co.za.
Otherwise, good job on the bands you got, they’re all amazing apart from Good Charlotte, wish Van Coke was playing in Jhb

Someone told me something that was rather disturbing and I would just like to clear it up for piece of mind.
I purchased an overly priced ColeFest ticket the other day only to find out that the whole of Korn is not gonna be at the festival. I have been told that only Jonathan Davies shall be attending.
Is there any truth in this statement

hey abbe,well golden circle tickets are reserved 4 the area right in front of the stage…its barricaded from the general admission pass tickets which in turn basicaly means u have the best seat in the house…hope that helps:) which show u flying in 2 joburg or cape town?

Well if i had 2 guess id say their,s prob between 2000-2500 golden circle tickets…no there,s no seats its all free standing in golden circle or with a general admission pass which is pretty cool coz u hav freedom of movement & can rome around wit out any restrictions…only detriment is no pass outs so bare that in mind…but wit golden circle its right up against the stage(barricaded from general admission passes) so u,ll hav an awsm view:)…oh u going 2 the cape town show u will love it there its a beautifull city! hope u hav an awsm memorable experiance here in South Africa:) if there,s anything else u wanna know feel free 2 ask…ill try help.

Golden Circle’s just another stupid way for the organisers to have an excuse to charge a ridiculous ticket price. There’s no such thing as a “golden circle” at international festivals, google it and see what you get. We’re deprived of big overseas acts in this country and they know there’s a whole lot of rabid fans that will sell a kidney to get in right up in front of the stage – so they exploit us.

I think Golden Circle for Cape Town is sold out as well now!
I remember seeing a ‘golden circle’ arrangement at Live 8 a couple of years ago, but otherwise I think Maverick is right – not really seen it at any other festivals/shows outside of SA.
Luckily I can afford the price and got my tix ages ago, but it must suck for other people – like students etc.

howzit , yea all great to have all the kick ass bands comming to our country , its sweet , the only thing that piss me of , you cant get any momories of the show , yes youl remember it in your mind , but why cant we take cameras in , are they scared we going to trouw it around , yea copy writed ,… yuo pay a lot of money to go see the bands , and you cant even take a photo , it suck ass , big time , not aloud any arm bands with stuts , common people were not going to a war , were going to a live show with our fav bands , they wont mind …5 fm sucks anyway , if seen plenty of pics taken by my friends over sea , here they wont even alow you with a cam. come wright people !!! anyway this years one going to suck anyway , everything going to be sold out again like the prev ones, so im holding thums, im in the circle , see you people there ,, woodstock is better organized than this event ..peace

South Africa is one of the VERY few Countries that have a Golden Circle…
It’s just a money making rip of…. all concerts should be OPEN standing like in europe..

All the bands were excellent, muse were great but I feel they couldn’t do all of their pyrotechnics as they do in other countries. Best Stage performance and interaction with the crowd I will give to koRn, 30 seconds and Chris Cornelle. koRn presented a whole other presence on stage then that of the other bands, what do expect of a new metal 14+ years in the industry IMHO… Great Success…except the mud….
