Another year, another Coke Fest, and boy did My Coke Fest 2008 rock! And as always, people always want to have a say in which bands THEY want to see… So, here is how it is going to work. In the comments, post your top 4 International bands and top 4 South African bands you would most love to see at My Coke Fest 2009!
I’ll then post this list right here on My Coke Fest and also send the list on to Big Concerts! So get your voice heard!

Guys listen Bullet for my valentine, slipknot, Megadeath, etc any metalisstupidly impracticle this aint my metal fest if you want these “nbands” top come then go talk to Doors of Zeplins but dont ruin the peoples Coke fest with yourmetal scene which you wont care about in two years, Its cool have a heavier ac t but dont request 200 metal bands and rally support to bring em. Slipknot are broken up!!! they died years ago when they lost there masks.
And locally please request bands who are good and new, not just a member of your “scene” thus not just chromium cuz there singer slept with your sisters ten year old friend thus you feel an obligation by accociation to vote, and agro yeah they old and goood for there scene but the general mass is gonna be bored out of ther mind cuz the ydont dig drop C tuning and double bass and screaming that much, get bands who actually care about music, Desmond and the Tutus, the Uncut, Hikatori, Iberah, your name in neon, fire through the window,

Oh, if only Kurt Cobain were still alive…I would definitely have nominated Nirvana. But, seeing as they’re gone, REM, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, The Dave Matthews Band and Coldplay please!!! Just make it as great as when Metallica was here. I’d like to sing along until my throat hurts and there’s not enough beer in the world to quench my thirst. No ‘pretty boy’ rock stars please.
